Lectier is a pomological rarity in Georgia.
The fruit is large, nice, pyriform, ripe in November.
Skin smooth, green, when fully ripe straw-yellow, blushed on the sunny side.
Flesh white, juicy, melting.
Tree of medium growth, with a wide pyramidal top, succeeds well on the quince; bearing late; blooming early; fruits drop easily.
Lectier is a good amateur late-winter sort.
