დაბადების ადგილი: სოფელი ბანძა, მარტვილის რაიონი.

დაამთავრა თბილისის სახელმწიფო სამედიცინო ინსტიტუტის სამკურნალო ფაკულტეტი 1962 წელს.

1962–1963წწ. იყო მარტვილის რაი-საავადმყოფოს ქირურგი; 1966–1969წწ. ბავშვთა ქირურგიის კათედრის ასპირანტი; 1969–1996წწ. ამავე კათედრის ასისტენტი; 1996 წლიდან აღნიშნული კათედრის დოცენტი. ავტორია 22 სამეცნიერო ნაშრომის. ექიმი–ქირურგი, მედიცინის მეცნიერებათა კანდიდატი.

საკანდიდატო დისერტაციის თემა - "მწვავე ჰემატოგენური ოსტეომიელიტის ადრეული დიაგნოსტიკა და მკურნალობის საკითხისათვის ბავშვთა ასაკში", დაიცვა 1970 წელს.
