დაამთავრა რიგის სამედიცინო ინსტიტუტის სამკურნალო ფაკულტეტი 1968 წელს.

1969–1994წწ. მუშაობდა თბილისში, ქირურგიის ინსტიტუტში; 1998 წლიდან ისევ ქირურგიის ინსტიტუტის თანამსრომელია. ავტორია 32 სამეცნიერო ნაშრომის და რაციონალიზატორული წინადადებებისა. ანესთეზიოლოგი. მედიცინის მეცნიერებათა კანდიდატი.

საკანდიდატო დისერტაციის თემა – "გულის კონსერვაცია ფტორნახშირწყლების ოქსიგენაციის პირობებში", დაიცვა 1985 წელს.
