დაამთავრა თბილისის სახელმწიფო სამედიცინო ინსტიტუტის სამკურნალო ფაკულტეტი 1970 წელს.

1970–1972წწ. იყო ქუთაისის ს/წ N78947 უმცროსი ექიმი; 1972–1973წწ. ქარელის საავადმყოფოს სასამართლო–სამედიცინო ექსპერტი; 1973–1975წწ. ექსპერიმენტული და კლინიკური ქირურგიის ინსტიტუტის ექიმი–ორდინატორი; 1984–1991წწ. ქარელის რაიონის მთავარი ექიმი; 1991 წლიდან ალ. წულუკიძის უროლოგიის სამეცნიერო კვლევითი ინსტიტუტის მთავარი ექიმი. ავტორია 10 სამეცნიერო ნაშრომის. არის ჯანდაცვის ორგანიზატორი, ანესთეზიოლოგ–რეანიმატოლოგი, მედიცინის მეცნიერებათა კანდიდატი.

საკანდიდატო დისერტაციის თემა - "Внесосудистая жидкость легких у больных в ближайшем периоде при протезировании клапанов сердца", დაიცვა მოსკოვში 1988 წელს.
