დაამთავრა თბილისის სახელმწიფო სამედიცინო ინსტიტუტის პედიატრიული ფაკულტეტი 1959 წელს.

1962-1964წწ. იყო თბილისის სახელმწიფო სამედიცინო ინსტიტუტის ბავშვთა სნეულებათა კათედრის უფროსი ლაბორანტი; 1962–1986წწ. ამავე კათედრის ასისტენტი; 1986 წლიდან აღნიშნული კათედრის დოცენტი. ავტორია 17 სამეცნიერო ნაშრომის პედიატრიის საკითხებზე. ექიმი–პედიატრი, მედიცინის მეცნიერებათა კანდიდატი, დოცენტი.

საკანდიდატო დისერტაციის თემა - "ჩვილ ბავშვთა პნევმონიების კლინიკურ–მორფოლოგიური თავისებურებები", დაიცვა 1971 წელს.
