Biography

დაიბადა ქ. დუშეთში. ხარკოვის და მოსკოვის უნივერსიტეტების სამედიცინო ფაკულტეტის აღზრდილი (დაამთავრა 1879 წელს). პროფ. გ. ზახარინის მოწაფე. სხვადასხვა დროს იყო მიხეილის საავადმყოფოს, ლეჩხუმ-სვანეთის, შორაპნის, სენაკის, რაჭის, ზუგდიდის მაზრის ექიმი. ერთ-ერთმა პირველმა მიაქცია ყურადღება მუხას მინერალური წყლის (ლუგელას) სამკურნალო თვისებებს და გამოიყენა მკურნალობის მიზნით. დიდია მისი ღვაწლი ქუთაისის გუბერნიაში ყვავილის ეპიდემიასთან (1883-1885) ბრძოლის საქმეში.
