დაიბადა სოფელ მარტვილში (გეგეჭკორის რაიონი). 1883 წელს დაამთავრა მოსკოვის უნივერსიტეტის სამედიცინო ფაკულტეტი. სხვადასხვა დროს მუშაობდა ექიმად თბილისში, ბაქოს გუბერნიაში, ბათუმში, საჩხერეში. საზოგადო მოღვაწე. ბათუმის ქალაქის საბჭოს ხმოსანი, ქართველთა შორის წერა-კითხვის გამავრცელებელი საზოგადოების ბათუმის განყოფილების თავმჯდომარე, ბათუმის ექიმთა საზოგადოების თვამჯდომარე.
