დაიბადა ქ. თბილისში. 1931 წელს დაამთავრა თბილისის სახელმწიფო სამედიცინო ინსტიტუტი. გამოჩენილი ორთოპრდი და ტრავმატოლოგი. მედიცინის მეცნიერებათა დოქტორი, სადისერტაციო შრომა - „Несросшиеся переломы, истинные и ложные суставы и болтающиеся конечности огнестрельчого происхождения“ (1949), საკანდიდატო დისერტაცია - „Хронический пластический линит“ (1939). პროფესორი, ლატვიის სსრ დამსახურებული ექიმი (1947), რსფსრ დამსახურებული ექიმი (1949), ლატვიის ორთოპედიისა და აღდგენითი ქირურგიის სამეცნიერო-კვლევითი ინსტიტუტის დამაარსებელი და დირექტორი (1946 წლიდან), რიგის სამედიცინო ინსტიტუტის ორთოპედიისა და ტრავმატოლოგიის კათედრის გამგე და ჰოსპიტალური ქირურგიის კათედრის პროფესორი.
