დაიბადა ქ. ცხაკაიაში. 1924 წელს დაამთავრა თბილისის უნივერსიტეტის სამედიცინო ფაკულტეტი. დახელოვნდა საფრანგეთში პროფ. ჟ. და მ. კიურის კლინიკაში. მედიცინის მეცნიერებათა დოქტორი, სადისერტაციო შრომა - ”მასალები სასქესო ჰორმონების როლის შესწავლისათვის ძუძუს კიბოს დროს” (1960), საკანდიდატო დისერტაცია - ”საშვილოსნოს ყელის კიბოს რადიოთერაპია” (1941). პროფესორი. მისი შრომები ეხება სასქესო ჰორმონების და სხივური თერაპიის გავლენას სასქესო ორგანოების კიბოზე.
