The Transition Period of the Georgian Society in the Context of the National Idea and Globalization

There is discussed the transition period of the Georgian society in the context of national idea and globalization. Much attention is given to the coup in 1991-92 and to the so called Rose Revolution in 2003. An attempt is made for creating a theoretical position to substantiate logical necessity of these events in Georgia. There is suggested weakness of explanation of the political events in Georgia of the last 10-15 years by E. Fromm's paradigm: "running away from freedom". That period is regarded not as running away from the problem (in the way to freedom) by the Georgian nation, but as facing the problem and "fighting" existent troubles.
