The article presents a critical review of the newly published reference book "Europa of peoples" (2002) by Basque Fund of the Institute of Peoples of Europe. The fine edition bears disinformation about peoples of Caucasus. The author is not familiar not only with the special literature, but also with the elementary encyclopaedic data on the Caucasus. Having taken into account the criticism of Georgian scholars the Fund has made the decision to republish above mentioned reference book having consulted with Georgian and Russian specialists.
