In the beginning of 80s of the 20^th century for teaching Russian Language in Georgian primary schools was offered the direct methods in order to turn Russian Language into a "Second Native" language for Georgians. But nor the idea of "Second Native" language neither direct method couldn't find its roots in Georgian school.
