A. Loria. -The Rights of Immigrants and Isolated Cases of Their Violation. - Tbilisi - 2005 -179 p. - In Georgian language.

The rights of foreigners (immigrants) permanently residing in Georgia and the issues of guaranteeing their protection are considered in the monograph. Hired labor is the first serious sphere of widespread consideration and summarizing of the issue of the legal status of immigrants in Georgia.

The book contains the introduction and four chapters. In the first chapter there considered administrative and legal guarantees of protection of immigrants' rights established by the Georgian legislation. The second chapter is devoted to court guarantees of protection of immigrants' rights. Peculiarities of cancellation of the immigrant status in Georgia and the issues of instituting record keeping for his deportation from the country are considered in chapter three. The fourth chapter contains detailed characteristics of deportation, the matters concerning its essence as well as procedures of its implementation; peculiarities of deportation's application as a measure of administrative and legal responsibility are also considered in it.

The author suggests reasoned proposals for perfection of the national legislation and the work of special state bodies based on the analysis of international and national legal documents regulating migration issues.

At the end of the book there enclosed graphical schemes of available statistical data concerning migration processes and a resume in Russian and English languages. The monograph is recommended as an auxiliary textbook for law departments of higher educational establishments.
