Jajanidze G. - The Problem of Moral Hero in Creativity of G. Lortkipanidze. - Tbilisi: Literaturis matiane - 2003 - 23 p. - in Georgian.

Due to adaptation of creative work of Nodar Dumbadze for the stage Giga Lortkiphanidze offered the audience to meditate over the true values common to all mankind. For this very reason everywhere in and out of Georgia his theatrical performances "Me, Grandmother, Iliko and Ilarioni" and "I see the Sun" have been a huge success. Encounter of Giga Lortkiphanidze and Nodar Dumbadze in the Georgian Theatre confirmed once again rightfulness of the opinion of Sandro Akhmeteli that the qualitative development of the national culture means enrichment of international culture at the same time.

Most of times it is hard to protect kindness but heroes of N. Dumbadze appeared in such diversity in performances staged by G. Lortkiphanidze have delivered a different message. They aren't similar to the heroes of "The Knight in the Panther's Skin" but still they live up to the inner, spiritual existence finding a moral power to withstand sometime unbearable conditions of life. The undeclared but real unity of theirs is the main force that drives them. They know pretty well that until they are together the hard wave of existence is unable to overthrow them.

Our nation is lack of this unity most of all these days. As if the hearty heroes of Nodar Dumbadze and Niko Lortkiphanidze have found its places only in history and memory.

We miss a human unity and mutual love.

G. Lortkiphanidze recreated Georgia of Nodar Dumbadze, the "second reality" that is so important in art. This world is distinguished and significant for not only its artistic but also the social values.

Both performances staged by G. Lortkiphanidze ("Me, Grandmother, Iliko and Ilarioni" and "I See the Sun") have been a manifestation of the true moral values of the Georgian nation, its great talent of "long-patience" and kindness.

Nodar Dumbadze and Giga Lortkiphanidze transferred to the stage the spirit of the nation, its strength, energy, wisdom and great humor. Audience believes that heroes animated on the stage despite their being different are real and trustworthy people. Audience also feels that young characters of Dumbadze the future sons and daughters of our country are the soldiers of kindness and truth.

N. Dumbadze and G. Lortkipanidze did almost unimaginable - they created completely new theatre, free from all Soviet stereotypes and based on the Christian morality. Giga Lortkiphanidze wholly represented on the stage the creative work of N. Dumbadze full of love of fellow creature, kindness and human sympathy. Staging of the works of N. Dumbadze on the Georgian Scene has been truly the "New Wave" of the Georgian Theatre. It also has been very strong waves that use to cast the marvelous life energy to the audience. This is the sunny energy of the moral hero. Inspired by the beautiful works of N. Dumbadze Giga Lortkiphanidze became a gatherer of this amazing charge.
