The dictionary is supported by the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia.

Biography

დაამთავრა თბილისის კეთილშობილ ქალთა სასწავლებელი 1863 წელს.

იბრძოდა ქალთა უფლებების დასაცავად. ეწოდა მთარგმნელობით საქმიანობას, თარგმნა "სტეфენსონი-რკინის გზის შემომღები" (თარგმნა რუსულით ბარბარე თუმანიშვილისაგან. - ტფ., 1876 (ექ. ხელაძის სტ.). - 31 გვ.). მიხეილ ბირთველის ძე თუმანიშვილის უფროსი ქალიშვილი; ანასტასია თუმანიშვილი-წერეთლის, გიორგი, ვასილ და კონსტანტინე თუმანიშვილების და. ხალხოსანი, ქალთა ემანსიპაციის ერთ-ერთი პირველი წარმომადგენელი, ბიოგრაფი-მთარგმნელი.
