The Biographical Dictionary of Georgian Athletes covers Georgians and citizens of Georgia who played an important role in the history of Georgian sport and won at least one prize in any sport competition. The Biographical Dictionary contains winners of Georgian and International competitions, including Soviet Games and Spartakiads.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of all Georgian athletes.

Biography

დაიბადა თბილისში. სპორტული ტანმოვარჯიშე, მწვრთნელი. სსრკ ჩემპიონი ახალგაზრდებს შორის (1949, თავისუფალი ვარჯიში). 1979-იდან 1982 წლამდე მუშაობდა მადაგასკარში, სადაც ჩამოაყალიბა ტანმოვარჯიშეთა ნაკრები და დიდი წვლილი შეიტანა კუნძულზე სპორტის ამ სახეობის განვითარებაში. საქართველოსა (1982-88) და რუსეთის (1994-2004) კაცთა ნაკრებების მთავარი მწვრთნელი. სსრკ დამსახურებული მწვრთნელი.
