The Biographical Dictionary of Georgian Athletes covers Georgians and citizens of Georgia who played an important role in the history of Georgian sport and won at least one prize in any sport competition. The Biographical Dictionary contains winners of Georgian and International competitions, including Soviet Games and Spartakiads.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of all Georgian athletes.

დაიბადა თბილისში. ტანმოვარჯიშე, მწვრთნელი. მსოფლიოს არაოფიციალურ ჩემპიონატში ორგზის გამარჯვებული (1937 _ გუნდური პირველობა, ღერძზე ვარჯიში), სსრკ სამგზის ჩემპიონი ღერზძე ვარჯიშში (1939, 43, 49). საქართველოს ფიზიკური კულტურის ინსტიტუტის დირექტორი (1942-43), ამავე ინსტიტუტის კათედრის გამგე (1966-73). იყო ავღანეთის ეროვნული ნაკრების კოსულტანტი და მთავარი მწვრთნელი (1973-77), იქვე დააარსა ფიზკულტურის ინსტიტუტი (1974). 30 სამეცნიერო-მეთოდური შრომის ავტორი. სსრკ სპორტის დამსახურებული ოსტატი.
