The Biographical Dictionary of Georgian Athletes covers Georgians and citizens of Georgia who played an important role in the history of Georgian sport and won at least one prize in any sport competition. The Biographical Dictionary contains winners of Georgian and International competitions, including Soviet Games and Spartakiads.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of all Georgian athletes.

Biography

დაიბადა თბილისში. სპორტული ტანმოვარჯიშე. სსრკ სამგზის აბსოლუტური ჩემპიონი (1932,33, 34), სსრკ ნაკრების ლიდერი 1930-იან წლებში. თბილისის სპორტკომიტეტის თავმჯდომარე (1953-68). სსრკ სპორტის დამსახურებული ოსტატი, საქართველოს ფიზიკური კულტურისა და სპორტის დამსახურებული მოღვაწე. 1972 წელს მისი სახელი მიენიჭა თბილისის ტანვარჯიშის სპეციალიზებულ სპორტულ სკოლას.
დაკრძალულია დიდუბის პანთეონში.
